two men arrested for shoplifting

Great work by officers saw two men in their 40s, arrested and charged with theft-shoplifting offences. 

On Tuesday, 18 November, officers conducted intelligence led patrols around South Woodford, to locate the men responsible for theft-shoplifting from a store, where more than £14000 worth of goods had been stolen. 

Officers spotted two men matching the descriptions provided and safely detained them. 

One of the men was in possession of some of the stolen goods, was arrested for handling stolen goods and theft- shoplifting. Another man was also arrested for theft-shoplifting and for recall to prison. 

Hard work and determination by officers, has secured charges against the two men for shoplifting offences, they were both remanded for court.
